Job Description

This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in West Chester, OH. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position, and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate. 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday from 8AM-5:00PM ET

You will assist in daily operational tasks such as setting up laboratory equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring the workspace meets all safety standards, enabling smooth and efficient scientific research processes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor daily kit vendor performance

  • Coordinate the review and action required on custom reports

  • Coordinate with Kit Vendor/Materials Management

  • Supports resolution of Kit Vendor Quality Events

  • Supports management of Kit Vendor SharePoint

  • Kit vendor document repository maintenance

  • All operational day to day activities in regard to supply order management

  • Placing re-supply orders

  • Answering emails – phone calls on site supply queries

  • Review/Releasing orders, express orders, Backorders, Modifying Orders, System comments and Managing Ship by Dates

  • Adding items to Master supply list in Preclarus Central lab data base

  • Maintain communication channel to Project Management

  • Supports information sharing within GSS department

  • Attend weekly kitting vendor operational meeting


Education and Experience:

  • • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • • Technical positions may require a certificate

  • • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent client and phone service skills

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and laboratory principal's pre-analytical, analytic and post-analytic influences on specimens and results Intermediate level of computer literacy

  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Superior analytical, interpersonal and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills in the English language - additional languages are an advantage

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support quality decision making

  • Proven negotiation and problem resolution skills

  • Maintains confidentiality of client protocols and study data



Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Occasional exposure to potentially infectious substances.

  • Regular rotation of work schedule to include early start time, late end time, legal holiday and weekend responsibilities.

  • Occasional overtime required.
