3dB Labs is a growing Defense Contractor focusing on Digital Signal Processing Software and Hardware with a diverse customer base.  We are looking for Mechanical Assembly Tech to join our production team as we grow and scale our capabilities. 

As part of the Production team, you will support the day-to-day engineering team in both a hardware end software based technology environment. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines.

The Mechanical Assembly tech will work alongside the team to help us build out and fulfill our ongoing product needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineering and production team in creating, testing, and modifying products
  • Help create production plans for new product lines
  • Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement
  • Create prototypes of new products for testing
  • Operate and maintain test equipment
  • Repair and replace damaged hardware
Requirements
  • Experience working with hand tools & power tools. (Torque wrenches, drill press, etc.)
  • Experience reading engineering drawings for assembly
  • Provide feedback to engineering on assembly issues/improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area with excellent attention to detail
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Associate’s degree in engineering technology or similar
  • Experience working in lean manufacturing environments.
  • eEperience assembling electronic components and working in ESD environments.
  • Experience with soldering.
  • 5-15 years experience
