Job Summary
Comcast is seeking an Engineer 2 - Oracle Fusion Cloud Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day support and operations of the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform, with a focus on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Cloud ERP functional areas including Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). You will work closely with senior engineers and solution architects to deliver reliable, well-configured ERP solutions — and will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to emerging AI capabilities within Oracle Fusion over time.Job Description
What You'll Do:
Platform Support & IntegrationÂ
Assist in the support and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Cloud platform components, including integration configurations and environment administration.Â
Build and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP-based integrations and scheduled orchestration flows, under the guidance of senior team members.Â
Perform basic administration and monitoring tasks on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in support of ERP workloads.Â
Help document integration designs, data flows, and configuration decisions to support platform knowledge management.Â
ERP Functional Support – SCM & P2PÂ
Provide day-to-day support for Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Procure-to-Pay modules, including issue triage and resolution.Â
Develop familiarity with the integration points between ERP modules (Purchasing, Inventory, Accounts Payable) and external systems.Â
Assist with Oracle Fusion configuration changes, testing, and deployment in coordination with functional and technical teams.Â
Support quarterly Oracle Fusion release reviews by participating in impact assessments and regression testing activities.Â
Work with business stakeholders and senior engineers to understand requirements and assist in translating them into system configurations.Â
Identity, Access & SecurityÂ
Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities for Oracle Fusion platforms, including user provisioning, role assignments, and MFA configuration, following established processes and controls.Â
Assist in access reviews and help ensure configurations align with audit, compliance, and security requirements.Â
Follow Comcast's security and data governance standards when making configuration changes across Oracle Fusion environments.Â
Process Standardization & Best PracticesÂ
Follow and help reinforce Oracle Fusion best practices and Comcast's process standards in day-to-day work.Â
Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, runbooks, and support procedures.Â
Participate in peer reviews and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Â
AI Awareness & AdoptionÂ
Develop awareness of Oracle's native AI capabilities embedded in Oracle Fusion Cloud (such as AI-assisted workflows and intelligent recommendations within SCM and P2P).Â
Support the team in evaluating and piloting Oracle AI features as directed by senior engineers and architects.Â
Show curiosity and willingness to learn about AI/automation opportunities in ERP processes — formal AI development experience is not required at this level.Â
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.Â
1–3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with exposure to SCM and/or P2P modules.Â
Basic working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) - familiarity with integration concepts and experience supporting or building simple integrations.Â
Foundational understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) concepts (compute, networking, IAM, storage).Â
Exposure to Oracle Fusion security concepts including role-based access control and basic IAM/MFA configurations.Â
Ability to troubleshoot Oracle Fusion configuration and integration issues with guidance from senior team members.Â
Understanding of common integration concepts such as REST APIs, SOAP, and file-based data exchange.Â
Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail.Â
Effective communication skills - able to clearly document issues and convey status to team members and stakeholders.Â
