Description

As a QA Automation Engineer at SentriLock, you will be a part of our Quality Assurance Team. You will own the success and execution for our automation test suites and processes with the goal of delivering exceptional quality to our web and app customers. You will train others and help cultivate a culture that adopts the benefits of automation across all of our products.

Deliver solutions to complex test design and execution needs.

  • Participate in the design and execution of functional, UI, and regression test suites based on client requirements. 
  • Develop In-Sprint test automation.
  • Create automation in sprint along with the development team.
  • Conduct load testing with k6, Grafana, and InfluxDB to ensure system resilience and performance.
  • Integrate automation workflows within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Execute API test design utilizing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Active involvement in all agile sprint activities, contributing to planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Deliver solutions to complex test design and execution needs.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.
  • Knowledge of department process 
  • Craft detailed documentation for automation tools and scripts, ensuring clarity and continuity.

Other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in projects assigned by manager.
  • Maintain and follow ISO standards.
  • Seek out and complete appropriate training, development, and research.
  • Knowledge of department processes
  • Support the mission, principles, and goals of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience, Required
  • 4-7 years Test automation including planning, analyzing, designing, executing test cases, Required
  • 3+ years Software testing experience, Required
  • 3+ years MySQL, data validation, Required
  • 1+ years Writing test cases and test plans, Required
  • 1+ years Software Development or Business Analysis experience, Highly Preferred
  • 1 year or more Black Box testing, Preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analysis skills
