Job Description:

Serve as a QA/Test expert, providing leadership across multiple business lines and IT support areas, platforms, and locations. Demonstrate capability to lead QA peers and provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members. Provide oversight and guidance of offshore testing teams to ensure test validation tasks are successfully completed in accordance with project and release timelines. Develop, provide input and/or modify processes to resolve complex testing and quality process issues to include environment assessments and translation of requirements. Recommend and lead initiatives to improve test processes and development of team members to improve efficiency. Provide senior level consulting services to internal IT and business groups on Quality Assurance and testing deliverables. Ensure team adheres to established best practices and supports all organizational and IT policies and procedures regarding software development and project management. Establish productive, efficient and goal-oriented partnerships with QA peers, other IT disciplines and the business. Accumulate and provide a thorough understanding of business systems, technology, risk, compliance and process requirements, considering relevance of technology to both current and future environments. Understand benefits and drive utilization of common tools and automation.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience. Must have experience working with the following: preparing and presenting test strategy to varied audiences; advising IT teams on increasing efficiency and improving standards; independently leading application development including collaborating with offshore teams; Waterfall, Agile SDLC, and SQL scripting; Quality Metrics management and reporting; formulating test strategy for large scale projects; executing on the automation road map; UAT support and co-ordination to ensure technical specifications meet business requirements; conducting defect triage meetings and managing defect resolution; testing in AWS or Azure cloud environments; QA tools and automation framework development using Python; and developing Behavior Driven Testing frameworks.
