1ST SHIFT: 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to plating processing a variety of circuit board to obtain multiple finishes for electrical conductivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare tanks by removing residue, checking anodes and making necessary additions.
- Setting proper temperatures and cycle times.
- Prepare the surface of the board through various cleaning processes.
- Verify quality requirements to finished product.
- Operator may be trained on the following processes as deemed necessary: Black Oxide, Deburr, Desmear/Electroless Copper, Pattern Plating, Nickel/Gold, Black Hole, Etchers, Silver and Resist Strip.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Standing for long periods of time is required.
- Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.
- Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.
- Use of plating thickness instruments including microscope, fixture and hand tools so good vision and dexterity required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.
