Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end reporting process for Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) submissions to IRAS, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting, with strong governance over data quality and submission timelines.

  • Act as the central liaison within the bank for data extraction, transformation, and upload activities related to CRS and FATCA reporting.

  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of reportable data prior to submission.

  • Communicate and escalate material clarifications or discrepancies requested by IRAS to relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

  • Lead first-level investigations into IRAS queries and notices, coordinating with internal teams to formulate and deliver appropriate responses.

  • Facilitate and drive cross-functional discussions to resolve reporting issues and ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support automation efforts to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, fostering a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Opportunities to be trained and involved in other external regulatory reporting initiatives beyond CRS and FATCA to broaden regulatory knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline; a background in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics is advantageous.

  • Prior experience in CRS and FATCA reporting or related regulatory reporting is preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, validate, and manage large datasets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient in managing complex regulatory requirements and deadlines.

  • Familiarity with data tools or reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar) is a plus.
