JOB PURPOSE |
The H&R Armorer provides firearm assembly for the H&R team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Is responsible for producing a quality product, without making tooling marks or blemishes.
- Safely and effectively operate required equipment associated with the movement of cargo or assembly of product.
- Adhere to policies and quality standards
- Final Assembly of uppers and lower receivers
- Barrel assembly prep and final assembly
- Upper and lower receiver pre-assembly
- Test fire and zeroing
- Repair and reworking rifles/uppers to meet zeroing standards
- Customer repairs, and inspection of returned goods
- Various QC functions including but not limited to component QC, Final QC and grading of uppers/lowers/guns
- Helps team to accomplish daily/monthly goals
- Must have knowledge/experience in firearms assembly and troubleshooting
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS |
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Hand tool proficiency and Very High attention to detail
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Must have working knowledge/experience in firearms assembly and troubleshooting ability to decern problems and adapt to change.
- Decision Making and Accountability
- Safety and Security Awareness, ability to identify and correct conditions.
- Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
- Positive attitude, ability to communicate effectively, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Preferred Additional qualifications.
- 1 year Manufacturing Experience with Palmetto State Armory
- Previous Firearm assembly experience
- Passion for firearms industry
WORKING CONDITIONS |
Work is performed in an operational manufacturing warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend, or holiday hours. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, seeing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, hearing, as well as handing paperwork and using basic hand tools. Team members will be lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. or less regularly. Cleaning material and chemicals are used regularly.
