Product Photographer

The Product Line Photographer will be responsible for photographing PSA / Non-PSA Products and editing them for display on the website using the Adobe Creative Suite.

The Product Line Photographer will be in charge of photographing all products within the JJE Capital Portfolio as they are manufactured and uploading them to the Ecommerce CMS Platform (Magento). This is not limited to just new products but to our entire existing catalog. The job duties are as follows:

• Photograph complete firearms and kits once they are completed and ready to go on the website
• Edit said photos using adobe photoshop to ensure they adhere to Ecommerce photo guidelines
• Requires an eye for detail to ensure pictures are a true representation of the product offered to customers.
• Ability to photograph edit daily builds in a timely manner
• Time management skills for prioritizing urgent product photos needs.
• Responsible for photo equipment set-up and upkeep.
• Organizing to keep a catalogue of products within Adobe Lightroom
• The ability to upload or email completed photos to their required location or curator.
• Clear communication skills to work with different inter-company departments to meet their product photos needs.
• This position may require travel between manufacturing plants and other office headquarters.

Qualifications include:

• 2 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite 
• 2 years of experience with a DSLR 
• Experience with Magento and basic firearm knowledge is preferred
• Eye for Detail and photo composition
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Time management and self-awareness of the tasks at hand and the importance of their completion for other company departments
• Initiative to complete required tasks with little supervision
• Positive attitude, goal driven, and focused on the overall strategic picture of the organization.

This position is mainly located in a warehouse environment. Applicant must be comfortable with firearm handling and positioning for photos.

You may be required to lift heavy boxes for transport back to the photobooth. Long periods of standing might be necessary for project completion.
