Clinical Systems Specialist - United States (Remote)

We have an incredible opportunity for a Clinical Systems Specialist to join ICON’s Interactive Response Technology (IRT) team. The Clinical Systems Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

Location: United States (Remote)

What you will be doing:

  • Tests the components of at least one clinical system from a recognized vendor
  • Provides appropriate notifications and feedback on the URS, UAT requirements, UAT deliverables, and results of testing
  • Actively participates in internal meetings
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of UAT documentation
  • Interprets URS and clinical study protocols
  • May provide oversight during the execution of UAT by supporting UAT coordination, execution, and error resolution liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • May collaborate with sponsor, external vendors, and internal functions to provide feedback in the development of UAT plan

Your profile:

  • 4-5 years of experience with system testing
  • Pharmaceutical or CRO industry experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex medical data, including reviewing protocols to determine system functionality required to support the clinical trials
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in clinical systems management
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field
