Job Title: Hematology Lab Supervisor
Location: DeLand, FL
Onsite
Schedule: Tue–Fri, 9 AM–7 PM + rotating Saturdays (every 12 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise hematology lab workflow and ensure timely, accurate results
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor performance metrics and improve processes
  • Support staff training, competency, and development
  • Manage hiring, performance reviews, scheduling, and team issues
  • Maintain staffing coverage and assist on bench when needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality programs (CAP, TAT, etc.)
  • Collaborate on SOPs, training, and process improvements
Requirements
  • 6–8 years experience as Medical Technologist/Supervisor
  • Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field
  • Florida Supervisor License – Hematology
  • Certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
