Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A trucks safely and efficiently to transport liquid asphalt from plants to customers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues on the road.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety and timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address any customer inquiries professionally.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving Class A trucks.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
