The AssociateĀ MarketĀ Manager plays a key role in the overall management of all aspects of theĀ Market. Job functions includeĀ retainingĀ employees, managing risk, driving revenue growth, increasing profitability,Ā maintainingĀ a superior and consistent level of client service, developing cohesive teams, and providing consistent leadership.Ā The AssociateĀ MarketĀ Manager helps in ensuring proper fiscal management, personnel management and morale, and business ethics and practices, as well as compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.Ā In addition, it is expected that individuals successful in this role will be goal-oriented and interested in pursuing future Branch or other management positions. The AssociateĀ MarketĀ Manager reports directly to theĀ MarketĀ Executive.Ā Ā

Leadership:Ā Ā

  • Leverages the resources of the Firm to achieve the highest level of successĀ Ā 

  • Plays a key role in leadingĀ Market’s efforts of sales and growthĀ Ā

Team Building:Ā Ā 

  • Plays a role in building an effective team across theĀ MarketĀ by communicating relevant information onĀ a timelyĀ basis and conducting meetings on behalf of theĀ Market ExecutiveĀ Ā 

  • Participates inĀ MarketĀ and Region initiatives, including sales, hiring, recruitment, diversity, and community outreachĀ Ā 

  • Plays a key role in growing theĀ MarketĀ through hiring, lateralĀ recruitingĀ and trainingĀ Ā

Product/Business Knowledge:Ā Ā 

  • Has a thorough understanding of the Firm’s products and those of its strategic partners; uses this knowledge to provide resources and direction to drive salesĀ Ā 

  • Possesses a good understanding of the Firm’s resources; able to direct the sales force to the right resources in an efficient manner as to make the sales process more efficientĀ Ā 

  • Has the ability to effectively apply product/business knowledge to recruiting effortsĀ Ā

Accountability:Ā Ā 

  • Plays a leading role in theĀ Market’s financial and sales performance, including expense managementĀ Ā 

  • AssistsĀ in regulatory, legal and compliance issuesĀ including:Ā Risk management for theĀ MarketĀ in regards toĀ monitoring sales, human resources, and legal and regulatory practicesĀ Ā 

  • AssistsĀ in the creation and administration of an Annual Supervisory Plan for theĀ MarketĀ Ā 

  • Contributes toĀ establishingĀ a core compliance model in offices under supervisionĀ 

Sales/Marketing:Ā Ā 

  • Seeks opportunities to grow business and drive sales by capitalizing on Firm initiativesĀ Ā 

  • Assists Market Executive in driving corporate marketing initiatives to help increase market share inĀ High Net WorthĀ householdsĀ Ā

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,Ā KNOWLEDGEĀ AND SKILLS:Ā Ā

Education and/or Experience:Ā Ā 

  • At least 4 or more years of experience as a Financial Advisor (with satisfactory production and compliance record), or comparable product area or management experienceĀ Ā 

  • Bachelor’s DegreeĀ requiredĀ Ā 

Ā Ā 

Licenses and Registrations:Ā Ā 

  • Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), 66 (or 63 and 65) and 3 registrations (Series 31 acceptable if Branch conducts managed futures business only)Ā Ā 

  • Other licenses asĀ requiredĀ for role or by managementĀ Ā
