Make a meaningful impact by shaping fair, competitive pay practices at The Iowa Clinic. We are looking for a data-driven HR professional who can turn compensation insights into practical recommendations that support our people, leaders, and business needs.

What You’ll Do
• Guide compensation decisions, including job evaluations, market pricing, salary recommendations, promotions, internal equity reviews, and FLSA classifications
• Maintain pay structures, salary ranges, grades, market positioning, merit processes, and market or equity adjustment programs
• Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, recruiters, and leaders to support consistent, data-informed decisions
• Analyze survey, market, workforce, and internal pay data to evaluate competitiveness and recommend improvements
• Create, update, price, and maintain job descriptions for postings, hiring, promotions, and internal movement
• Support HRIS compensation processes, reporting, documentation, and data accuracy
• Stay current on compensation trends, pay transparency requirements, regulatory changes, and best practices
• Provide backup support for benefits administration, including employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and routine processes as needed

What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered
• 4–6 years of experience in compensation administration, compensation analysis, market pricing, HR analytics, total rewards, or HR operations
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, salary structures, market benchmarking, internal equity, FLSA classification, and pay administration
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, practical recommendations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS or payroll systems
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, communication, and partnership skills
• CCP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or related certification preferred
• Experience with salary surveys, pay transparency, merit cycle administration, or benefits administration a plus
