A day in the life…
Wondering what a day in the life of Patient Experience Representative/Procedure Scheduler in Gastroenterology at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
- Arrive at work in the morning - no night shift here!Â
- Spend the majority of your day scheduling patient appointments, coordinating provider schedules, and helping patients find appointment times that meet their needs.
- Serve as a key point of contact for patients by answering questions, assisting with appointment requests, and ensuring a positive scheduling experience.
- Manage scheduling workflows, registration activities, patient communications, and related documentation.
- Communicate appointment changes, delays, and important information to patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Represent the clinic by providing advanced level patient services regarding registration as a direct contact and resource to patient and will manage the flow of clinical scheduling, registration, patient materials and communicating delays or changes.Â

Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
- No medical office experience necessary, we will train you!
