A Day in the Life

As an OB/GYN Patient Experience Representative, your impact happens behind the scenes—but it’s felt in every patient interaction.

• Start your day knowing you’ll help patients navigate their care—no night shifts required
• Serve as a primary phone-based resource in our call room, assisting patients with scheduling, registration, and questions
• Handle a high volume of calls while providing a calm, helpful, and professional experience
• Coordinate appointments, share important updates, and guide patients through next steps
• Collaborate closely with providers, clinical staff, and scheduling teams
• Occasionally rotate to the front desk to support in-person patient interactions
• Ensure every interaction reflects The Iowa Clinic Experience—compassionate, efficient, and supportive
• End your day with the satisfaction of helping patients feel informed and cared for

Primarily based in West Des Moines, with occasional coverage in Ankeny

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical office or call center experience preferred
