A Day in the Life
As an OB/GYN Patient Experience Representative, your impact happens behind the scenes—but it’s felt in every patient interaction.
- Start your day knowing you’ll help patients navigate their care—no night shifts required
- Serve as a primary phone-based resource in our call room, assisting patients with scheduling, registration, and questions
- Handle a high volume of calls while providing a calm, helpful, and professional experience
- Coordinate appointments, share important updates, and guide patients through next steps
- Collaborate closely with providers, clinical staff, and scheduling teams
- Occasionally rotate to the front desk to support in-person patient interactions
- Ensure every interaction reflects The Iowa Clinic Experience—compassionate, efficient, and supportive
- End your day with the satisfaction of helping patients feel informed and cared for
Primarily based in West Des Moines, with occasional coverage in Ankeny

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical office or call center experience preferred
