Schedule: Four days per week. One weekday off (either Tuesday or Thursday). Hours are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM on weekdays and Saturday from 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
Job Summary:
The Yard & Utility Associate plays a critical role in supporting daily branch operations by maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient yard environment. This position ensures equipment and materials are properly staged, prepared, and ready for rental or delivery while supporting technicians and drivers with yard logistics. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of the yard and exterior operational areas
Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials
Perform basic inspections, staging, and preparation of equipment for rental or delivery
Support technicians and drivers with yard logistics and material movement
Operate forklifts and other light equipment (training and certification provided if needed)
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment
Assist with general yard duties as needed to support branch operations
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Commitment to safety and following established procedures
Forklift experience preferred (or ability and willingness to be trained)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 75lbs and move materials as required for the role
