Position Summary

The Yard Worker / CDL Driver is a versatile, cross-functional position responsible for supporting the daily operations of the yard, warehouse, and delivery department. This position is designed to provide flexibility across the branch and will rotate between responsibilities based on daily business needs, staffing requirements, delivery schedules, and operational priorities.

The employee will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, including flatbed delivery trucks and box trucks when needed, while also assisting with general yard and warehouse operations. When not assigned to deliveries, the employee will support the yard team by pulling customer orders, operating forklifts, loading and unloading materials, staging deliveries, restocking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized yard.

This position requires an individual who is willing and able to work across multiple areas of the operation rather than being assigned exclusively to driving or yard duties. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, dependability, strong teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to transition between responsibilities as business needs change.
