Associate Attorney - Pre-Litigation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a experienced personal injury attorney to join our prelitigation department. In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation. You will diligently represent our clients' interests and ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases through the pre-litigation process from intake through demand, negotiation, and settlement
  • Review and analyze case files to identify legal issues, assess strengths and weaknesses, and develop case strategies
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates, settlement offers, and other relevant matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
  • Review work product, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-litigation processes
  • May provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to legal staff involved in pre-litigation matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, opposing parties, witnesses, medical professionals, law enforcement, and colleagues in personal injury cases
  • Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism
  • Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills
  • This role is located at our West Hollywood office and requires physical presence on-site.

Compensation:

$125,000 – $200,000 including commission (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
