Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Access Operations in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic media and technology location, you will welcome visitors, manage access and badge procedures, monitor alarm panels, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support a secure, professional environment while helping to deter incidents through a visible, responsive presence. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming front-desk presence for employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a media and technology workplace.
• Verify visitor credentials, manage sign-in procedures, issue visitor badges, and direct guests according to site-specific access protocols.
• Monitor the lobby area and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, or equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out site-specific policies and maintaining accurate visitor and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
