POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of Assistant Plant Manager, this position is responsible for operating the CNC machine(s); and it is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts by programming, setting up, and running the machine.
• Regularly perform maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are stored properly.
• Work between production and drafting to evaluate what pieces can be put into CNC production.
• Prepares stock materials for machining.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery and software.
• Keeps records as requested by supervisor.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
• Performs other duties assigned inside and out of the assigned department.
• Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; further technical training in CNC operation and CAD drafting preferred.
• Familiar with Rhino 3D and CAD software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Reasoning Ability: Must be able to make reasonable decisions.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.
• Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

PAY RANGE: $28.00 - $32.00 DOE
