Description

Hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday, w/some Saturdays

Pay: $19/hr. or possibly higher depending on experience


Your Purpose will be:

The person in this position will recognize the financial needs of members and cross sell appropriate products and services. They will quickly and accurately process routine transactions that members conduct at the Credit Union. ITM Representatives interact with members via video while members are using an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) either inside or outside of various branch locations. All Credit Union employees are responsible for fulfilling our Mission Statement: We elevate our members' financial experience through best-in-class Service and Solutions.


What you’ll do:

  • Offer solutions for members' financial needs by cross-selling products and services through video interactions.
  • Greet members, use name and maintain a professional and courteous attitude during transaction. Being an ambassador of the Credit Union
  • Receive and accurately process member financial transactions.
  • Resolve member’s problems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Be highly knowledgeable of all Credit Union products and services.
  • Gather member feedback and report it to management in order to improve the member experience.
  • Answer basic inquiries regarding interest rates, fees and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and privacy policies.
  • Participate in the Step-Up Program.
  • Assess members needs and refer them to appropriate partners (i.e.. Lending, Real Estate, Investments, etc.)
  • Meet role specific goals regarding availability, service, and sales.
  • Complete all educational courses as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

Requirements

The experience you need to succeed:

  • Prefer up to six months of similar or related experience.
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and perform in a high pressure/fast paced environment.
  • Proficient with standard office business machinery and software.
  • Working knowledge to Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Bank/Credit union services, programs, and products and/or a broad understanding of security procedures for a financial institution is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Works primarily in an in-office call center environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The employee may at times also need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
