Job DetailsJob Location: Falcon Building - West Jordan, UT 84081Position Type: Full TimeMachine Shop Helper Location: West Jordan, UT Department: Falcon Shocks – Machine Shop Reports To: Machine Shop Supervisor Position Summary The Machine Shop Helper at Falcon Shocks supports the day-to-day operations of the machining department. This position plays an essential role in maintaining efficient workflow by assisting machinists with material preparation, part handling, and general shop organization. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Pull and prepare raw material for machining orders. Operate a band saw to cut metal stock to specified lengths. Deliver finished goods to appropriate departments or storage locations. Polish and deburr finished parts to meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the machine shop. Assist with routine machine area maintenance and cleanup tasks. Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.    QualificationsQualifications Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Previous shop or manufacturing experience preferred. Forklift experience a plus (training provided if needed). Must be able to stand, stoop, reach, and climb ladders for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and heavier loads with team assistance. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
