Fabrication Operator

Job Summary: Operate various fabrication tools and support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending, punching, or sawing of metal products as instructed by the supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate fabrication equipment, such as CNC lasers, brake presses, shears, turrets, saws, or plasma tables.
• Select and set up equipment, load programs, and set machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
  
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Operate machinery used in the production process.
• Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Other duties as required.

Qualification Requirements:

• 2+ years experience on fabrication machines. 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Solid background working with sheet metal.
• Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance.
• Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
• Ability to distinguish material types including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, and brass.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
