Description

We are seeking a Director of Operations to join our Austin team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring the company is managed efficiently and effectively while driving operational excellence across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with extensive business and financial management experience, a proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive organizational performance through strong leadership and operational discipline.

Essential Job Functions

  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards to evaluate organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate existing business procedures and operational processes
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve day-to-day operations
  • Ensure work environments are safe, productive, and compliant with applicable regulations and standards
  • Oversee operational departments and ensure goals established by company leadership are achieved
  • Plan, direct, monitor, forecast, and evaluate budgets and cost of sales to achieve financial objectives
  • Communicate new directives, policies, and procedural changes to leadership teams and staff
  • Lead change management initiatives while maintaining employee engagement and morale
  • Improve customer service and client satisfaction through operational enhancements
  • Coordinate efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service teams to improve efficiency and workflow
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational growth and profitability
  • Build strong relationships with employees, clients, industry partners, and community stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop managers and emerging leaders across the organization
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and long-term business objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership and operations management experience
  • Thorough understanding of business operations, finance, organizational management, and strategic planning
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team development skills
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing budgets and operational performance
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior managerial, organizational, and diplomacy skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience leading organizational change and process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
