We are looking to hire Welders for our Cortland, OH facility.  Skills and experience will determine classification and pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding processes on aluminum, steel and other metals’ parts using welding metals and metal alloys.
• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications..
• Under general supervision, uses hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to weld together metal components (flat, horizontal, or vertical plates and pipes).
• Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions.
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Performs welding in multiple positions (G3, G6).
• Assigned to lead a specific project without supervision. 
• Builds up worn and/or defected surfaces
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.

Experience/Education/Skills/Certifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Skills and experience will determine classification and pay rate
• Crane/Forklift – In house training provided to obtain certification
• Welding Certification
• Driver’s license
• Ability to use hand tools, safety boots, hard hats, safety glasses, welding gloves, fall protection, ear plugs, FR Uniforms, welding hood
