Sanitation Team Lead (1st Shift)

Pay: $20.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4-day work week, 10-hour shifts)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sanitation Team Lead to support daily operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior leadership experience in warehouse, sanitation, janitorial, or industrial cleaning settings who is comfortable overseeing a small team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Supervisor with daily sanitation operations
• Provide direction and leadership to a team of 4–6 employees
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and employee performance
• Communicate daily priorities and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards
• Ensure proper chemical usage and handling procedures
• Maintain and enforce safety and sanitation protocols
• Address and resolve issues in real time
• Assist with training and guiding team members as needed

Qualifications

• Previous team lead or leadership experience required
• Background in sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Reliable and able to commit to a 6:00 AM start time
