About the Role:
We’re looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager who thrives on building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. You’ll be the primary point of contact for commercial clients, handling day-to-day service needs while supporting renewals, policy servicing, and new business efforts.
 Salary: $50,000–$100,000 (based on experience)Â

Key Responsibilities:
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Serve as the main contact for client requests and inquiries
- Handle policy changes, certificates, billing questions, claims reporting, and ID cards
- Provide coverage guidance and proactive service
Account Management
- Â Review policies for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized, compliant documentation
Marketing & New Business Support
- Assist with submissions and quoting
- Work with carriers to obtain proposals
- Support presentations and proposal development
Underwriting & Coverage Review
- Evaluate client risk exposures
- Recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Collaborate with carriers on underwriting decisions
Billing & Processing
- Manage billing inquiries and follow-ups
- Process endorsements, renewals, and policy updates
Requirements
Required:
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
- 2+ years of commercial or personal lines insurance experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
Preferred:
- Commercial lines experience
- CISR designation (or in progress)
- Familiarity with underwriting and coverage analysis
Skills for Success:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset
- Working knowledge of insurance products and carrier markets
