Job Summary:Ā
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Specialist for our West Milton precast facility. Ā The ideal candidate has demonstrated drafting experience, the ability to effectively interface with external customers, create quotes, process orders and collaborate internally with the production team. Ā
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute structural calculations and design of precast concrete elements
- Designs, develops, and modifies and evaluates drawings using SolidWorks
- Creates accurate drawings, plans and specifications for precast production to meet industry design standards
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings for easy access and version control.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Prepare and execute right first time order processing to ensure operational excellence and schedule accuracy adherence for on time delivery.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design or equivalent experience.Ā
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, and Google workspace
- Understanding of, or ability to learn, PCI standards, precast concrete manufacturing, precast concrete applications and construction drawings.Ā
- Ability to interpret technical sketches, blueprints and engineer specifications accurately.
- Previous experience in precast concrete or a related manufacturing field is preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete materials, their properties, and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to streamline processes.
- Strong mathematical abilities, attention to detail and ability to interpret complex blueprints. Ā
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
