Driver/Mental Health Tech - PRN- Weekend

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe has immediate openings for a weekend/prn driver! Previous experience caring for
adult and geriatric is essential.  If you have the heart for caring for individuals this is the place to be!   

  ****All Applicants selected for employment will be required to undergo a post-offer drug test and federal background investigation.  

The Driver/Mental Health Tech will be required to:

• Contribute to the physical, psychological, emotional, and well-being of each person served.
• Transport to and from therapy, activities, assisting with ADL’s, meals, assisting with patient hygiene, room cleanliness and other patient care activities as/if assigned.
• Pick up meals from local vendor and bring to facilities
• Provide patient transportation – position requires local, rural and highway driving
• Accurately complete transportation documents/checklists.
• Assists patient in and out of vehicle.
• Promotes and practices patient safety, infection control and proper body mechanics.
• Maintains vehicle safety and maintenance-maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming vehicle.
  

Experience: CNA or Direct Service Worker experience preferred

Must have;

A valid drivers license

Clear MVR record

25 years of age or older

Must be able to perform physical demands and essential functions of the position.
