What You’ll Do

• Operate a front load garbage truck on assigned commercial routes
• Service dumpsters using hydraulic forks (no guesswork — you know the drill)
• Safely transport waste to local disposal sites
• Complete daily logs, inspections, and route sheets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient vehicle
• Deliver top-notch customer service with professionalism

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL (with a clean driving record)
• Must be 21+ years old
• Experience operating front load or similar refuse equipment preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks (moving containers, equipment checks, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (English required)

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

We’re looking for drivers who are ready to handle a physically active role and take pride in a hard day’s work. This position keeps you moving and engaged throughout your shift.

What to Expect:

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs independently, frequently throughout the day (120–150 times)
• Push and pull containers up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Repeatedly enter and exit the truck cab (120–150 times per day)
• Perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Work 8–12 hour shifts with consistent physical activity

Work Environment

This is not a desk job — you’ll be out on the road and in the elements, making an impact every day.

• Work in all weather conditions: heat, humidity, rain, and occasional cold
• Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and odors typical of waste collection
• Fast-paced, outdoor environment with daily route responsibilities
