The Express Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and lubrication services efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. 

Requirements

  

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform oil changes, lubrication services, and basic vehicle inspections.
  • Drain and refill engine oil; replace oil and air filters.
  • Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as needed.
  • Check and adjust tire pressure.
  • Lubricate vehicle components using specified materials.
  • Document all work performed on repair orders.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts.
  • Identify and report equipment defects or vehicle concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and shop work areas.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
  • Maintain and properly store dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and repair orders
  • Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to write routine reports and documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
