How You'll Make an Impact

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an essential role in maintaining the community's buildings, common areas, amenities, and mechanical systems while helping to ensure a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and completing repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
  • Maintaining common areas, amenity spaces, mechanical rooms, and exterior building features.
  • Repairing and maintaining fixtures, lighting, locks, doors, windows, walls, flooring, drains, and other building components.
  • Assisting with maintenance of community amenities, including fitness, clubhouse, pool, and shared resident spaces.
  • Operating and maintaining tools, equipment, and mechanical systems in accordance with safety standards.
  • Identifying potential maintenance concerns and proactively reporting or addressing issues before they become larger problems.
  • Responding to service requests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and communicating completed work to management.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of maintenance, building engineering, facilities, condominium, apartment, hotel, or related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance practices.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with residents, vendors, management, and fellow team members.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.
  • Understanding of applicable state and local codes related to building maintenance.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and routine inspections.
  • Ability to use smartphones, email, and basic technology for work orders, communication, and reporting.
  • Ability to safely work from ladders and perform tasks at heights up to approximately 24-28 feet.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic personal hand tools may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in high-rise condominiums, luxury residential communities, hotels, or resort-style properties.
  • Knowledge of pool equipment, access control systems, HVAC systems, or building automation systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
