At Hanley Foundation, we provide a comprehensive continuum of individualized alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs and recovery support for adults, including those with co-occurring disorders. Hanley's treatment approach unites effective addiction medicine and evidence-based clinical strategies with a profound immersion in the timeless 12-step experience. Summary/Objective:

You will report to the Recovery Advocate Supervisor of the facility and will interact with senior and clinical management of the facility. Your chief responsibilities will be to assist the staff in the management and execution of the daily schedule and coordination/facilitation of patient needs. You will sometimes facilitate 12-step lectures and group discussions and will be directly involved in monitoring and mentoring the clients. At times, you will also be maintaining files, facilitating and coordinating off-facility activities such as driving clients to medical and other appointments, making airport runs, etc., as well as assisting in the admission/intake process and other aspects of the client鈥檚 experience at Hanley.聽


Duties & Responsibilities:

路 Act as a Liaison between clients and staff and relay pertinent client information, including observations, to appropriate Clinical staff.聽

路 Supervise daily client operations and always act sensitive to their needs and best interests.

路 Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of client services.

路 Assist clients with transportation needs.

路 Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse clients.聽

路 Maintain the safety of the clients and the security of the facility.

路 Participate in the intake and discharge process of clients.聽

路 Administration of drug screens.

路 Instruct recovery-based lectures as assigned.

路 Protect client confidentiality following Hanley Foundation Policy.

路 Must maintain off-the-clock boundaries. Will not be responsible for any after-hours work communication.

路 Uphold all Hanley Foundation Policies and Procedures.

路 Maintain client/potential client confidentiality following Hanley Policy.


Education/Experience/Qualifications:

路 High School Diploma or equivalent required.聽

路 Experience in a helping profession preferred.聽

路 If in recovery, one (1) year of continuous sobriety required.

路 Must produce and maintain a valid driver鈥檚 license and pass MVR requirements per policy.聽


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

路 Must be computer literate and be familiar with most Microsoft products and network components.

路 Must have fluid communication skills.

路 Must be thoroughly familiar with and demonstrate knowledge of the principles and programs of the various 12-step fellowships.
