Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them improve communication, social interaction, and functional language skills to support their academic and personal success.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with diverse communication needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with autism and other communication disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP).

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and small group settings.

  • Support students in developing expressive and receptive language, articulation, social communication, and pragmatic language skills.

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, behavioral specialists, and families to support student progress.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.

  • Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to students with autism.


Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility) required.

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

  • Experience supervising SLPAs preferred.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
