Job Overview
Straight AC Services is seeking a highly organized Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to support our growing HVAC operation.
This role is responsible for sourcing parts, ordering equipment, coordinating deliveries, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring our installation and service teams have the materials they need to complete jobs successfully.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys solving logistical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Order HVAC equipment, materials, and parts for upcoming projects
- Source pricing and availability from vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate equipment deliveries and job site logistics
- Track purchase orders and equipment status
- Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times and backorders
- Maintain inventory levels of commonly used materials
- Work closely with estimators, installers, technicians, and management
- Assist with warranty registrations and equipment documentation
- Help improve purchasing processes and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Purchasing, logistics, inventory, or operations experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in HVAC, construction, plumbing, electrical, or related trades is a plus
- Comfortable working with vendors and suppliers
- Computer proficiency and attention to detail required
