Job Summary: Â
 ND Defense is looking for a Quality Inspector to work with our Assembly and Paint departments. This position is responsible for measuring objects, running tests to identify defects and comparing products against a model to ensure everything meets high standards before leaving the manufacturing line.Â

Responsibilities:Â
 Establishing quality standards for products a company produces
- Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
- Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced by ND Defense
- Using gadgets such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products
- Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality
- Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team
- Performing inspections at random to assess product quality
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Â
- Â 3 yrs experience with Assembly in an automotive, maintenance, or paint setting
- Analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail
- Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents and manuals
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
- Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, work in extreme cold and hot temperatures, squat, kneel, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time.
