Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with Saturday rotation.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform functions and responsibilities of a Pharmacy Clerk, operating a cash register and scanning terminal.
- Keep inventory or current medications and process orders for new medication shipments.
- Fills and documents medication orders, prepares, labels, and documents IV products under the direct clinical supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Able to effectively communicate with customers and associates.
- Prepares and delivers medications to units via manual or automated dispensing machines.
- Initiates telephone calls, receives/screens/routes incoming questions and calls.
QUALIFICATIONS:Â
Education and/or ExperienceÂ
- 18 years of age verified by valid driver’s license
- High School Graduate
- Pharmacy Technician License or ability to obtain within 2 years
- BLS Certification or willing to obtainÂ

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Skill in operating a computer and calculator; knowledge of computer hardware, word processing and spreadsheet programs, and data communications
- Interpersonal skills requiring courtesy and tact are necessary to communicate effectively
- Requires full range of body motion with frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to change from one duty to another frequently
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet unit needs
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions exactly
