Pharmacy Technician

Available Pharmacy Technician Positions:

Full-Time Day Shift: 6AM-2:30PM; Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday

Full-Time Evening Shift: 2PM-10:30PM; Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday

A Pharmacy Technician:

• Assists the pharmacist in his/her professional responsibilities in providing pharmacy services
• Works under the direction of a licensed pharmacist
• Participates in the preparation, dispensing, distribution and return of patient specific medications including intravenous admixtures
• Supplies and maintains automated technology equipment
• Packages unit of use dosages
• Maintains and transports pharmaceuticals
• Performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance
• Documents activities as indicated and performs other duties as required

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

Certification and Licensure

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required upon hire or within the first 12 months of employment
