Position Purpose

As a Pricing Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring pricing accuracy across our stores by supporting promotional price setup, validating advertising information, and maintaining critical pricing data within our merchandising systems.

In this detail-oriented role, you will work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Pricing, and Store Operations teams to ensure advertised promotions are accurately entered, tested, and executed. Your work directly impacts the customer experience, promotional execution, and business performance by helping ensure customers receive the right price at the right time.

What You'll Do & How You'll Make a Difference

Support Promotional Pricing Strategy

• Enter promotional pricing information into merchandising system databases

• Create and maintain advertised and non-advertised promotional discounts

• Support promotional setup activities to ensure pricing accuracy and system integrity

• Ensure established business rules and pricing standards are consistently followed

• Maintain item limits and purchase requirements within pricing systems

• Help ensure customers receive accurate and consistent promotional pricing

Validate Advertising & Promotional Execution

• Proof weekly advertisements to verify promotional pricing accuracy

• Review pricing details and identify discrepancies before promotions go live

• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Pricing teams to resolve issues

• Escalate concerns and support timely corrections when discrepancies are identified

• Help deliver a seamless customer experience through accurate promotional execution

Collaborate Across the Business

• Serve as a liaison between stores, marketing, merchandising, and pricing teams

• Respond to pricing-related questions and investigate discrepancies

• Support communication efforts to ensure pricing issues are resolved efficiently

• Assist business partners by providing accurate information and timely updates

• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of pricing and merchandising operations

Maintain Data Quality & Process Excellence 

• Review and validate pricing data for accuracy and completeness

• Maintain attention to detail while managing high-volume data entry activities

• Follow established procedures and operational standards

• Meet productivity expectations and assigned deadlines

• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase accuracy and efficiency

Must Haves

• High School Diploma or GED

• One (1) or more years of data entry, administrative support, data coordination, retail support, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

• Strong customer service mindset

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
