We’re looking for Dietary Aides for our West Salem location, Salem Terrace/Mill Street Manor. A valid, non probationary driver's license is required for this position. All driving would occur in a company vehicle. Additional $0.50 per hour for driving shifts.  This position works every other weekend and rotating holidays.  Shift Availability: Full Time - Day Shift / Mid-Day Shift  Job Responsibilities: Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with the serving of meals, and providing customer service to our residents, while following food safety requirements.  Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines. Follows resident’s diet orders and preferences when serving meals. Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation. Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion. May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Assisted Living Facility. Cooking may also be required  Prepare foods that are safe, appealing and nutritious. Serve meals in an accurate, timely way.  Ensure that the information on each resident's meal card is followed. Follow therapeutic menus and standardized recipes. Forecast and monitor production. Perform the duties on the task list and any other food service tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Apply high standards of sanitation to all tasks, including food preparation, food storage, and cleanup.
