Our work incorporates complex legal review, public benefit analysis, and planning strategies designed to protect clients’ long-term interests at the time of settlement and beyond. Our focus is to provide services that help ensure accurate and complete health insurance liens associated with personal injury recoveries, while supporting plaintiffs as they transition to life after settlement. Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to become an integral part of our settlement planning team and support senior advisors. This role combines legal research and drafting, case management, and coordination with multiple external firms. This is a growth-oriented role ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is interested in building a long-term career within a law-adjacent, settlement planning field.


Roles & Responsibilities

In this role, you will support our senior advisors by handling a blend of legal, administrative, and client service tasks.

  • Drafting, Settlement Support & Analysis
    • Draft and assist in reviewing settlement agreements, releases, court orders, wrongful death petitions, and infant compromise orders
    • Prepare and refine attorney-facing correspondence to ensure clarity, accuracy, and defensibility
    • Conduct research on settlement-related issues
    • Assist in preparing settlement illustrations and planning materials
  • Case Management & Coordination
    • Maintain organized digital case files and track documentation for compliance and completeness
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely progression of matters and follow-up on outstanding items
    • Collaborate across intake and planning teams to deliver a seamless client experience


Qualifications

At a minimum, candidates should have the following:

  • 4+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal or in a similar legal support role
  • Strong knowledge of New York civil practice, court procedures, and legal documentation
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Growth-oriented and eager to take on additional responsibilities over time


What We Offer

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: Competitive salary with bonus potential tied to personal and firm performance.
