 Position: Health Services Support Professional – Full-Time

Location: West Springfield, MA 

Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week 

Schedule: 8:30am-3:30pm

 Summary: 

  • The Personal Needs Attendant is responsible for assisting members with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills; implementing training procedures to assist members in increasing their independence in the areas of personal care and ADL; attending to members’ first aid needs; participating in member assessments and various other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • High School/GED plus 1-year related experience and/or CNA training. 
  • One year of human service experience desired. 
  • Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

 Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills. 
  • Strong teamwork skills. 
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. 
  • Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet
