Job Summary:Â
The Inventory Control Team Lead is responsible for supporting and maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse. This role oversees cycle counting activities, assists with inventory investigations, and provides day-to-day guidance to inventory team members to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation processesÂ
- Lead and coordinate daily cycle count activities and team assignmentsÂ
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysisÂ
- Serve as a subject matter expert for inventory transactions and system inquiriesÂ
- Ensure proper handling and disposition of damaged or nonconforming materials (RTV, destruction, etc.)Â
- Monitor and report key inventory metrics (accuracy, adjustments, space utilization)Â
- Train and support inventory team members on procedures and best practicesÂ
- Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions related to inventory processesÂ
- Partner with Quality to manage aging inventory and ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO practicesÂ
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and housekeeping standardsÂ
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment as neededÂ
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience with inventory control
- Previous leadership and Team building experience
- Able to lead, direct, and provide constructive feedback to team membersÂ
- Ability to manage effective work schedules
- Analytical mind with strong attention to detail skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficient in the operation of ERP programs to support Inventory Management and Warehouse Management systems
- Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for majority of shift
- Adept and effective at record keeping
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience sufficient to:
- Proficiently read, speak and write English to meet FDA requirements for record keeping and inventory and warehouse purposes.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations—add, subtract multiply, divide, percentages.
