Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Team Lead is responsible for supporting and maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse. This role oversees cycle counting activities, assists with inventory investigations, and provides day-to-day guidance to inventory team members to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Support and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation processes
Lead and coordinate daily cycle count activities and team assignments
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis
Serve as a subject matter expert for inventory transactions and system inquiries
Ensure proper handling and disposition of damaged or nonconforming materials (RTV, destruction, etc.)
Monitor and report key inventory metrics (accuracy, adjustments, space utilization)
Train and support inventory team members on procedures and best practices
Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions related to inventory processes
Partner with Quality to manage aging inventory and ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO practices
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards
Safely operate powered industrial equipment as needed
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 2+ years’ experience with inventory control
Previous leadership and Team building experience
Able to lead, direct, and provide constructive feedback to team members
Ability to manage effective work schedules
Analytical mind with strong attention to detail skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Proficient in the operation of ERP programs to support Inventory Management and Warehouse Management systems
Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for majority of shift
Adept and effective at record keeping
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience sufficient to:
- Proficiently read, speak and write English to meet FDA requirements for record keeping and inventory and warehouse purposes.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations—add, subtract multiply, divide, percentages.
