Kitchen Leadership Role
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll direct onsite dining for our assisted living community, ensuring every meal is safe, consistent, and supports Wow experiences. This role exists to keep food preparation and service running smoothly while meeting state compliance standards and maintaining a dependable kitchen team.
You’ll oversee cooking and serving from prep through cleanup, manage daily kitchen flow, and lead with a responsible, steady presence. You’ll also handle staffing needs—building schedules, coordinating coverage, and staying on call for emergencies or unexpected gaps.
Required knowledge and skills:
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Food Handler card
- ServSafe Manager certification, with strong understanding of state compliance for assisted living and food preparation
- Proven leadership, team management, and scheduling capability
- Ability to stay flexible, compassionate, and focused on create positive interactions with residents and coworkers

Inside the Shift
Your day kicks off with a quick review of menus, deliveries, and who’s on the line, then a check-in with the care team to confirm resident preferences and timing. As service starts, you keep pace and stay calm—adjusting portions, swapping a missing item, or jumping in to help when the kitchen gets busy. Between meals, you’re out in the dining room listening, coaching, and spotting moments to create positive interactions with residents and the super caregiver team. Before you wrap, you reset prep and notes for tomorrow, staying flexible and on call so Wow experiences continue, even when plans change.
