Mobile Lube Technician (JCB Equipment) 
Job Description

Position Summary

The Mobile Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, lubrication services, and basic inspections on JCB construction and industrial equipment at customer job sites and company locations. This position plays a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime by ensuring machinery receives timely maintenance and identifying potential mechanical issues before they become major repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and company job sites to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on JCB equipment.
• Change engine oil, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and filters according to manufacturer specifications.
• Lubricate equipment components, including pins, bushings, bearings, and other service points.
• Conduct equipment inspections and document findings, including wear items, leaks, and safety concerns.
• Complete fluid sampling and monitor equipment condition whenrequired.
• Maintainaccurateservice records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate maintenance recommendations and repair needs to the Service Manager and customers.
• Operate a mobile service truck safely andmaintaininventory of lubricants, filters, tools, and supplies.
• Follow all JCB maintenance procedures, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and environmentally compliant.
• Assistservice technicians with basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Respond to customer service requests in a professional andtimelymanner.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GEDrequired.
• Minimum 1 year of experience servicing construction, agricultural, industrial, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance schedules, service manuals, and inspection forms.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safelyoperateand maintain a mobile service vehicle.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on JCB equipment or other construction equipment brands.
• CDL license or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and fleet management systems.
• OSHA or other applicable safety training certifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability tolift upto 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Manual dexterityrequiredtooperatetools and service equipment.

Work Environment

• Frequent travel to customer worksites and equipment storage locations.
• Exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, dirt, grease, and varying weather conditions.
• Must adhere to all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
