Hunt Electric, Inc. and ICC are seeking a full-time Warehouse Material Handler to join our team within the ICC department of Hunt Electric.

 

This position requires self-motivation and self-management of work with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in a face-to-face environment. The Warehouse Material Handler will work on a team with project managers, technicians, accounting, other ICC employees, and outside vendors to coordinate finished goods, receive materials and equipment, and streamline the inventory and shipping/receiving process.

 

 

 Major Duties:

  • Shipping of finished goods.
  • Receipt of materials and equipment.
  • Organize, stock, and manage the materials inventory.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safe workplace standards.
  • Ability to create building kits by accurately pulling inventory per BOMs.
  • Able to provide additional support as needed to the manufacturing floor to meet deadlines.
  • Drive a company truck between locations for material transfers
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Be a self starter.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, hard working, and a team player.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability/experience operating a forklift.
  • 2-3 years experience on a standup elevating picker
  • Previous experience working in logistics, inventory, warehousing.
  • Experience picking inventory.
  • Inventory control experience a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work OT when required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
