Sbarro is seeking a motivated and dependable Shift Lead to help lead our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. In this role, you will support daily operations, guide team members, and help ensure every guest receives high-quality food and excellent service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support team members during shifts to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
  • Delegate tasks and help maintain productivity, teamwork, and positive morale
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally and quickly
  • Ensure all food items meet Sbarro standards for quality, taste, and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen, prep, and dining areas
  • Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily shift procedures
  • Support cash handling, register operations, and shift accountability
  • Assist with inventory, stocking, and minimizing food waste
  • Train and coach new and existing team members on company standards
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is operating properly and report any issues to management
  • Support management in achieving daily operational goals
  • Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
