About the Role

Merut Construction is hiring a CDL Driver to safely transport materials, machinery, and equipment between job sites. This role supports our civil construction operations and ensures timely, safe, and professional deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Properly secure cargo (chains, binders, straps, transport pins, etc.)
• Complete required logs and documentation
• Maintain clean, organized vehicles
• Follow DOT and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively regarding schedules, delays, and delivery needs
• Report incidents, hazards, or equipment issues immediately

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel frequently between job sites
• Must be on-call for delays, emergencies, and weather-related issues
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Prior construction, transportation, or equipment-hauling experience
• Moffett forklift experience preferred
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe driving practices
