- Level 1 Trauma Center with a high-acuity emergency and referral caseload
- True specialty support on-site (Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology) with real-time collaboration
- Exceptional ER support team, including experienced technicians and an ECC VTS
- Advanced diagnostics on site: 128-slice CT, 1.5T MRI, multiple ultrasounds (including ICU), and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Teaching hospital environment with rounds, case collaboration, and built-in mentorship
- Only specialty & emergency hospital on Long Island with a dedicated Social Worker supporting patients, clients, and care teams

Compensation
- Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary Range: $140,000 - 200,000. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week. Â

Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalency program
- Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
